Background

After finishing top of his class in 1982, Pieter worked as a journalist at Die Burger for two years before joining VGV as candidate attorney in 1985. He was admitted as an attorney in February 1987 and became a director in 1990.

Pieter is currently one of the partners in the Bellville office, servicing the various needs of clients of the firm. His clients are diverse, ranging from sole proprietors, estate agents and developers to large parastatals requiring mainly commercial and tax assistance and assistance in litigation resulting from commercial transactions. He also runs a successful family law practise. Pieter achieves success not only in his professional life, but in his personal life too – he has climbed to Mount Everest Base Camp.
